According to the China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA), China’s exports of construction machinery maintained rapid growth in the first two months of 2026.
Latest data show that China’s export value of construction machinery reached $10.686 billion in January–February 2026, up 33.4% year on year. Even in February, which included the long Spring Festival holiday, exports exceeded $5.1 billion, 50.16% higher than the average monthly export value in 2025.
By region, exports to all continents grew: 77% to Africa, 50.6% to Oceania, and 28.1% to Europe. Exports to countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative totaled $4.638 billion, accounting for 43.4% of total exports and rising 24.6% year on year.

By product category, significant increases were seen in exports of construction machinery parts, crawler excavators, and off‑highway mining dump trucks. High‑end and electric models have emerged as new highlights in exports.
A relevant official from the CCMA stated that the competitiveness of China’s construction machinery industry continues to improve, and exports are expected to maintain steady growth in the future, becoming an important force for high‑quality Chinese manufacturing to go global.
